Near the Southern tip of Sri Lanka and just North of the equator lies sleepy Mirissa. Few things man made exist here, a few guest houses, small markets at the 150km marker. This beautiful, crescent shaped beach has calm, clear waters and plays host to some of Sri Lankas most stunning sunrises and sunsets.
It’s peaceful here, but every so often the silence is broken by a chilled beer being opened by someone up the beach, or a coconut falling from a tree.
