Snorkeling The Gili Islands

Just off the Northwest coast of Lombok, Indonesia lies the Gili Islands.  We chartered a boat from Senggigi and crossed the treacherous Lombok Strait in just under two hours.

We spent a glorious week on Gili Trawangan (the “big” island) and although the snorkeling conditions weren’t perfect, there were sea turtles!!!  What else can you ask for?
