Known for its remarkable wildlife and fascinating habitats, the Kinabatangan is the longest river in Sabah. We made The Bilit Adventure Lodge our home base to search by boat for proboscis monkeys, Bornean orangutan, Asian elephants, Sumatran rhinos and the endemic Borneo river shark. We didn’t see as much wildlife as we expected but it was still a worthwhile journey.
