Once a haven for old school hippies and backpackers, Dahab is now best know for being the third biggest scuba diving destination in Egypt after Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada.  We came here mainly to snorkel.

As with many destinations in Egypt, is only safe to travel during daytime hours. We flew into Sharm el Sheikh and hired a private car for the rest of the journey.

    hey man, if you’re looking for cheap accommodation in dahab. i stayed in “Auski camp” right on the main street, if i remember correctly it was 15EGP which is great value!! peace:)
