Karen and I spent 2 nights and 3 days cruising around HaLong Bay aboard a restored Chinese junk boat. It was an experience that neither of us will ever forget.
One of the most interesting sights were the floating villages where over 400 families call home. The waters in the bay are calm and protected where stable timbers sit atop pontoons to provide the foundations for schools, homes, banks, shops, and fish farms.
We shot this video on day two of our amazing Ha Long Bay adventure.
