It wasn’t easy getting to the top, for me at least. We left our hotel in Dahab at 1:00 in the morning and started the hike to the summit at around 2:00 A.M.
Karen had no issues with the practically vertical climb but I was hungover and almost 30 pounds overweight. I swear to God I almost died of a heart attack. It was worth it though…
